Happy Tails Bodywork

Courtney grew up in Squamish, BC, surrounded by dogs and wilderness. Her passion for dogs began with her first pet, a wolf hybrid, at age 7. Over the years, she connected deeply with the dogs she cared for. In 2011, she joined DogHaven, a dog daycare and boarding facility, eventually becoming assistant manager, sparking her interest in a career in the industry.

She pursued a Tourism Management degree at Capilano University and worked at WalkTime, a dog walking company, taking on key roles in employee onboarding and client interactions. Later, during COVID, she became Manager of Canine Adventure Den, the largest 24-hour dog daycare and boarding facility, overseeing 100+ dogs and 15 staff.

Courtney, her partner, and their lab Myla relocated to Powell River to escape city life. In August 2023, she founded Happy Tails Bodywork, focusing on Dog Walking and Canine Body Work, sharing her love for dogs with the Powell River community.
